Tagaytay overview

Tagaytay Travel Guide
Just 55kms from Manila along the Aguinaldo Highway, Tagaytay has long been one of the Philippine’s most popular tourist destinations. The high altitude and temperate climate are a welcoming change from the heat of the capital, the cool mountain breezes making views of the magnificent Taal volcano all the more impressive, attracting honeymooners and photographers in droves. The volcano rise from the centre of Taal Lake, where the cone houses yet another lake, the outlook from the summit is understandably awe-inspiring. A popular weekend getaway for domestic tourists, Tagaytay also offers plenty of outdoor activities including horse riding, camping and trekking. A lake cruise is especially rewarding. Nearby Enchanted Kingdom, Philippine’s answer to Disneyland, is a kiddies paradise while the Palace in the Sky (now rebranded as People’s Park in the Sky) offers sensational Taal volcano views from the former playground of the Marcos family.
