Capiz overview

The only real motive for most tourists to stop over Capiz, a province in northern Panay Island, is because you took a slow ferry from Manila and would like to have a rest for few hours before continuing to Iloilo or Boracay Island. With little time to spare, you can easily see Capiz’s main tourist draw, the beautiful Pan-ay Bell – considered as the largest of its kind in Asia and is just a 20-minute jeepney ride from Roxas, the provincial capital. In Roxas, tourists can also make a quick visit to the restaurants near Baybay Beach to sample the local seafood cuisine. Often crowded during weekends, the place is a popular destination among families and travelling gourmand.
