Angeles City overview

Angeles City Travel Guide
Compared to other cities in the Philippines, Angeles City is landlocked and bit far from the sea. So you better forget about azure beaches while here. Aside from its hot air balloon show every February and tasty Kapampangan cuisines, there is nothing much to see in Angeles City. But for people who prefer lively night spots, you will surely like to stay a couple of days here. The city has a booming nightlife that is increasingly getting popular among South Korean travellers. Within the city centre of Balibago, tourists are free to have a glimpse on the neon-lit, adults-only Fields Avenue – dotted with several nightclubs and go-go bars. Just an important note: if you are a male Caucasian travelling around Angeles City, most locals will call out to you and say “Hey Joe!”. Your newly found name can be upsetting sometimes, but mostly, these locals mean no harm to you. So either smile or better walk away and you’ll be alright.
